1. 2016 BRICS Convention on Tourism will be held at Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh in September 2016 to promote intra¬regional tourism.

2. 2016 South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) finance ministers’ conference held in Islamabad (Pakistan), attended by Shaktikanta Das on India's Behalf.

3. 2nd Meeting of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China & South Africa) Ministers for Disaster Management held in Udaipur (Rajasthan).

4. 6th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) 2016 held in Nairobi (Kenya). This is first time that this conference is held in Africa.

5. An International Meeting on Counter Terrorism held in Bali (Indonesia). Kiren Rijiju (Minister of State for Home Affairs) Attended on India's Behalf.

6. BRICS women parliamentarian’s forum meeting held in Jaipur (Rajasthan).

7. Conference on “International Arbitration in BRICS: Challenges, Opportunities and Road ahead” held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

8. First Asian Science and Technology (S&T) Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) held in Thailand (Bangkok).Union Minister of Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju attended on India's Behalf.

9. First BRICS Film Festival will be held at Sirifort Auditorium Complex in New Delhi in September 2016.

10. First National Conference of Investigation Agencies held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

11. First South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Youth Parliamentarians Conference on Peace and Harmony for Development held in Islamabad (Pakistan).

12. First technology 2 day meet under Hydrocarbon Vision 2030 for Northeast India held in Guwahati, regarding implementation of Hydrocarbon Vision 2030 document that proposes investment of Rs 1,30,000 crore.

13. India hosted 3rd edition of World Trauma Congress (WTC) in New Delhi.

14. National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) listed world’s first Indian green Masala bond on London Stock Exchange (LSE) and raised $300 Million (Approx INR 2000 Crores). to generate 175GW of renewable energy by 2022.

15. Pakistan will host 19th SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) Summit in Islamabad in November 2016.

16. Seventh meeting of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Immigration Authorities held in Islamabad (Pakistan). Home Minister Rajnath Singh Attended on India's Behalf.

17. World Economic Forum (WEF) India Economic Summit will be held in New Delhi in October 2016,with Theme Fostering an Inclusive India through Digital Transformation.
